Zoey Deutch sited down for an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on July 16 in New York City.

The 23-year-old actress was on the show to promote her Netflix movie Set It Up and joked how she “is the first person to come on [the] show and promote a movie a month late.

During the interview  Zoey opened up about getting to introduce Hillary Clinton at a recent event and speaking at an event on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

One of the things I learned while I was there is how important it is to call your senators if there is an issue you really believe in,” Zoey said. “Call your senator! I know it seems scary. Every time I call I feel like, ‘Oh it doesn’t matter, my voice is not going to matter and this call is not going to matter.’ But it does and they count every call, they count every message. So if something is very important to you right now, please call.

She also talked about her new accents during the interview with Jimmy Fallon. The 23-year-old actress started slipping in and out of a new accent right after she sat down and explained that she’s learning the accents for a new project.

I’m slipping into this accent that I’m doing… it’s happening already. I knew it would happen,” Zoey explained. “What happened is I’m learning two accents at the same time. One is sort of like if the Chicago accent had a baby with the Fargo accent and that baby smoked cigarettes for 20 years. The other accent that I’m learning is like a high-pitched baby voice.

Zoey was wearing a black dress and jacket by Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2018 collection and a Prada bag.
